In 2017, I ventured into photography with my first personal camera, driven by a simple interest in capturing life's moments. Little did I know, it would become much more than that. As the non-skater among the Skimp Boys crew, my camera became my way of fitting in. Hanging out with them pushed me to grow and evolve as a photographer. Documenting our hangouts became more than just a project; it became a reflection of a significant part of my life through my lens.
This project spans three years, from my first shot of Wimsy on a skateboard to acquiring my first fisheye lens and capturing the journey that unfolded. Shoutout to Wimsy, from our 7th-grade meeting to the depth of our friendship today. We've come a long way, and I treasure the memories and experiences you've brought into my life.
